The Riverside Festival has been the finale of the Stamford Festival for over 25 years, originally titled Music on the Meadows. For the past 8 years it has been run as the Riverside Festival, and in 2007 it was registered as a not-for-profit limited company and charity. 
Riverside is a music festival held annually on the first Saturday of July, on the meadows in Stamford, showcasing over 30 bands and artists, mostly from the surrounding area, on at least 3 main stages.
