Live in Stamford area? Got opinions about local issues? Well, here's your chance to become TheStamfordian's newest columnist. There's no payment planned but we assure you will enjoy the experience. You can advertise your own business if you wish in return- subject to agreement. All articles will be archived indefinitely online so you'll be able to send a link to anyone as clips.
It doesn't matter what you do, but what we're looking for is someone who can write a true account of the highs and lows of life here in the Stamford area.
We're looking for the following people:
- someone who is interested in farm life. It's really a monthly diary giving your take on life in the countryside - what's keeping you busy, what's making you laugh, what's making you pull your hair out, what your other half is up to, what the kids have been doing (if applicable), even your thoughts on general farming and countryside issues.
- someone who is interested in motoring, engines, new cars or motorcycles. A Jeremey Clarkson- without the controversial comments!
- someone who loves sharing reviews about a restaurant or a shop. You have been to a place where they serve excellent food? Tell us what you think, what you like and what you don't like.
- someone who would write an article about his/her own business and share his/her experience with us. Restaurant owner? Advertise your business for free and share some tips and recipes with us.
- anyone who thinks he/she's got something to tell us about. It is open for all. Send us an email. Explain your idea to us. We will say YES and give it a try.
- someone who works for a charity and would like to raise awareness by informing us about its goals and achievements etc...
